This personal support service is professional, confidential and free for all ACAP students.

Counselling Support

Combining study with your everyday work and family commitments can sometimes be challenging. We have experienced counsellors available to help if you are finding it difficult to cope with your course load.

Counselling sessions are available on a short-term basis. We can help you with a range of issues, including:

  • Relationship difficulties
  • Self-esteem
  • Motivation
  • Family issues
  • Crisis

Sydney Campus and Flexible Delivery

Counselling is available by appointment on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8.45am - 4.45pm.

Brisbane Campus

Melbourne Campus

Melbourne students (both on campus and flexible delivery students based in Melbourne) are able to access up to three counselling sessions through an external counselling service. Students can contact the service on (03) 9078 9618 (or through the website) to make an appointment, mentioning that they are an ACAP student. The service is completely confidential with no identifying information passed back to ACAP. The service is free to students and easy to get to as it is a short tram ride from the Melbourne campus.
